Roast Me

About Roast Me

Roast Me is a little game for the thick-skinned: write a few words about yourself and an AI roasts you – like a quick-witted friend at the pub who doesn't hold back.

How it works

  1. Write a few words about yourself – what you do, what you love, what drives you mad. A sentence will do, 200 characters at most.
  2. We send the text to an AI (Claude, a model by Anthropic), which turns it into a roast – two to four sentences aimed at your job, your hobbies and your habits.
  3. A few seconds later you have the answer. Pass it on, or ask for another one.

An example

I'm Peter, 34, a programmer, I have three cats and run a half marathon every weekend.

A programmer with three cats – so at work and at home you're ignored by creatures who think they're smarter than you. And a half marathon every weekend? That's not running for your health, that's running away from your own code. Meanwhile the cats are deciding which of them inherits your one hoodie.

What the AI watches out for

An AI can still get it wrong. If an answer misses the mark, ask for another one – and if it's genuinely inappropriate, let us know.

How the site is funded

The game is free, but every answer from the AI costs something, so ads help pay for running it – always kept apart from your answer. Personalised ads only with your consent, more under Privacy.
